Lighthouse Tour: Tales of Pirates & Ghost Ships

Travel to the Brant Point Lighthouse. During our tour you will hear all about the history of the lighthouse, legends of famous pirates who sailed these waters, and tales of the mysterious ghost ships of New England. Dance of the Planets

Mercury, Venus and Jupiter will provide a fascinating show low in the west-northwest twilight sky soon after sunset. They will seemingly shuffle around each other, changing their positions noticeably from one evening to the next. The two brightest planets, Venus and Jupiter, will be separated by just over 1 degree on May 28, with Venus passing to the northwest (upper right) of Jupiter and shining more than six times brighter than Jupiter.

The Raven's Night Walk: A Ghostly Adventure

Meet your guide and her raven on a history walk and ghostly adventure. We will travel along narrow streets and walkways and visit the most haunted places in Nantucket. During our walk, you will hear all about Nantucket's fascinating history and the ghostly encounters that include: the sea captain who vowed never to leave his home; the tragic end to the woman in room 10; and the strange and unexplained happenings on Mill Street. So keep your eyes open as we embark on our adventure, and expect the unexpected as the history and spirits of Nantucket surround you. Meet your guide at the intersection of Main and Federal Streets.
